Be a part of the Weaver Lake Elementary


Our goal is to raise $30,000 in donations to fund things like new library books, technology items, classroom supplies, and additional STEM programming. With your help, we were able to raise over $13,000 last year, which supplied our Media Center with a ton of new, diverse materials!

We want to promote a lifelong love of reading for our students and the community. Please help us reach our fundraising goal by supporting our Read-A-Thon. We have teamed up with Get Movin’© to make this event fun and profitable with online mobile-friendly technology!

The Weaver Lake Elementary Read-a-thon is open to all students, including Weaver Lake students enrolled in DLA. Each student is encouraged to read 20 minutes per day for a total of 600 minutes this month. The school-wide goal is to read 375,000 minutes for the month of November.

  • FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR STUDENT AS WELL AS OUR VOLUNTEERS, WE PREFER ONLINE DONATIONS THROUGH YOUR CHILD’S WEBPAGE. Donations in the form of cash & checks (in-school donations), should be turned in to the school office inside an envelope labeled with your student’s name, grade, and teacher’s name.
